Attending candidates receive a three year certificate which enables them to be an Appointed Person for the purposes of First Aid in the workplace.
With effect from 1 October 2009 this course is only valid if delivered by an Ofqual/SQA/ HSE Approved organisation.
Annual First Aid At Work Update (Half Day) - Not Mandatory
This is a new addition to the HSE First Aid at Work syllabus aimed at helping First Aiders retain their skills over the three year period.
